My name is Matt Place and I’m the owner and artist of The Tattoo Place. I have grown up and lived in the area my whole life.

My personal passion in art and tattooing is black and grey realism. I draw portraits as a hobby and most of my own tattoos are in this style.

I love tattooing and illustration and I’m a well-rounded versatile artist. I have many examples of work across many styles, so if you’re looking for traditional, Japanese, realistic, a mandala or something completely unique I’d love to help. No design too small or too large.

I use the latest technology in preparing my designs and can super-impose the design onto a photo of your body, so you get an idea of how it will look.
